Started snowing when we just entered. The place looks quite atas (upclass) type of grilling but still without breaking the bank too much. Was told itβs quite popular here and we walked-in without reservations. This is like the top few grilled places we have been and the only grilled beef we tried (price is either very expensive for high grade or cheap for low grades), so this is about mid-tier? Anyways all feels good and service was good. Only thing was during our session had some drunken tourists sitting beside. Fortunately the only trouble they have was this lady was super loud and the staff had to tell them to quieten down. They left after finishing and peace regained. Other signs that they were drunk, the staff picked up their empty wine/beer bottles. The other customers were normal. Anyways the food is good and worth coming. Little ex for my liking but still not crazy price (the higher grades were like 300,000 per pax). Here I spent 100,000+ for 3 so think still reasonable.

Wangbijib Myeongdong delivers an exceptional Korean BBQ experience that truly stands out. The side dishes are beautifully presented like little pieces of art, and they taste just as good as they look. The restaurant uses premium charcoal to grill the meat, resulting in very little smoke and a much more comfortable dining environment. The beef quality is excellent β tender, juicy, and full of rich flavour. Even the rice is surprisingly delicious. Another big plus is that they have staff who can speak Chinese, which makes ordering much easier. Definitely a must-try when visiting Myeongdong.
It was our return visit to this Korean BBQ restaurant after many years, and it still felt familiar. The space isnβt very big, but the modern and pleasant setting creates a comfortable dining atmosphere. The menu is extensive, offering a wide selection of beef cuts to choose from. Condiments and side dishes are available free-flow, pairing perfectly with the grilled meats. Each table is fitted with a strong exhaust hood right above the charcoal grill, so there was no lingering smoke in the air β making the dining experience even more enjoyable. We were served by Ms. Trinh, who was incredibly friendly and efficient. She helped us with the grilling process and even recommended the best condiments for each type of meat. It was a satisfying meal overall, and we highly recommend this restaurant.
We passed by Wangbijib by luck, but it was probably one of the interesting highlights of our South Korean culinary trip. After eating Korean BBQ for quite some time, you have a good chance of dining in a great restaurant, especially after seeing their banchan: itβs generous! We ordered sirloin and sliced beef. They are fresh and cooked perfectly before our eyes. It melts immediately after the first chew. Highly recommended this place!
Stopped by the wangbijib central branch while on a long layover in Seoul and had a great time! Was able to make a reservation easily through Catchtable, and the location was also easily accessible. We ordered the bbq marinated ribs and the pork belly, and the staff managed the smoke from the grilling really well and helped us with the cooking. Would come back again!
Love Wangbijib outlets around Seoul! Nice environment & atmosphere. The staff were helpful especially at center outlet. Food was great and they would BBQ for u so that u have just enjoy the food! The child seat at center outlet has a cushion too!
The grilled beef and pork were so flavorful, the steamed egg was silky, the Korean pancake (pajeon) was super tasty, and even the noodles were delicious! Really recommend this restaurant!
